Talaria Podiatrist was established by Kristy Markopoulos (she/her) in 2017, born from a vision to build a welcoming, progressive podiatry clinic capable of delivering specialised foot care to every person who walks through the door. Kristy has a genuine love for the Thornbury community and the vibrant energy of High Street, and feels truly privileged to call it home. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University, and brings a wealth of hands-on experience to her practice. A true all-rounder, she holds particular depth of knowledge in general podiatry and is passionate about supporting patients across every stage of life, from the very young to the elderly. Her scope of treatment is broad, encompassing general nail care and KeryFlex restorative nail solutions, as well as biomechanical conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel pain, and Achilles tendonitis. Kristy is also skilled in advanced treatment modalities including shockwave therapy, dry needling, and orthotic therapy for musculoskeletal realignment.
