I'm Sarah, the founder of Respectfully Melbourne, and a proud mum of three energetic boys, aged 6, 8, and 10, who fill my days with joy and keep life moving at a fast pace! My husband and I feel incredibly fortunate to be raising them in such a vibrant and supportive community here in Melbourne. The idea for Respectfully Melbourne came about when I found myself constantly searching for gifts that aligned with my values—sustainably made, locally crafted and thoughtfully produced. The search, however, was exhausting, often leaving me settling for mass-produced, environmentally harmful products, many of which were made overseas with questionable sourcing and working conditions. It felt like there was a glaring disconnect between my values and the gifts I was finding. That's when I decided to create Respectfully Melbourne, a space where people can easily find consciously crafted, high-quality gifts with both purpose and style. Every product in our collection is made locally in Victoria by skilled artisans who genuinely care about the planet and the people in their supply chains. They create in small, respectful batches, using ethical sourcing practices and striving for sustainability without compromising on quality.
